75 Jane Street
Gracious Greek Revival townhouse on a charming cobblestone block. This property, as well as the two house to the right of it, and the two houses to the left of it were developed by Peter Van Antwerp in 1846 ? 1847. All six of the homes featured stoops when they were built. Currently, 75 Jane is partially gutted. The ground floor rear apartment is still functional and the front studio as well as the parlor level floor through could be restored with some minor work. The top floor is gutted. Much of the original detail is still intact, especially on the ground, parlor and third floors. Some of the more notable features of this property are the eight fireplaces, a serene backyard, Greek Revival hand railings with elaborate castings, and an outdoor terrace on the fourth floor. Delivered vacant.
